I don't believe this is his prison. But I do know he taught English to people and that his situation was pretty good.
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

Those people who said he was tortured were really lying.

This was supposed to be the big human right abuse in Southern Kurdistan, so it's really good news :D

and I love his prison, my prep school dormitory in france was not that good, neither were my "flats" in first years of political school...

he also got a lot of attention because of this ! I bet no time in his life he had been paid that much attention.

I dont think he would leave such a paradise, I bet Our Freedom Fighter Hero , would do his best to be arrested again and be paid attention again. he he.

The Austrian Foreign Ministry, Ursula Plassnik, who is too since January 1st the Chairman of Europe, stated her satisfaction concenring Qadir's liberation. But that dumby linked that to the decision of Austria of open a permanent representation office in BAGHDAD. "Mr Qadir's liberation shows that our decision is the good one".

Who cares of Baghdad in Kurdistan ??? When Austria open a representation in Hewlêr, then Kurds could congratulate Austria...

Indeed. Let's ask Kemal if he wants to spent in prison longer. Maybe he wants to do it as an excuse or  .

Oh my God ! Barzani reads our forum !

Nivîskarê kurd Dr. Kemal Seyid Qadir hîn di zindanê. Di rojên dawî ji aliyê ajansên nûçeyan ên cîhanî û beş,;ek ji medyaya kurdî ya nêzîkî PDK-Iraq ve nûçeya azadbûna Qadir hate ragihandin. Wezareta derve ya Nemsayê do ragihandibû ku wezîrê derve yê Iraqê Hoşyar Zîbarî jê re eşkere kiriye, ku Dr. Kemal Qadir serbest hatiye berdan. Gelwêj Seyid Qadir, xuşka Dr. Kemal, ji Malpera Amûdê re eşkere kir, ku birayê wê hîn di zindanê de ye. Li gorî wê, berî sê rojan ji aliyê PDKê soz hatiye dayin, ku ewê Dr. Kemal serbest berdin, lê ev yek pêk nehatiye. Gelwêj Seyid Qadir PDK rexne kir û got ku ew "xelkê dixapînin". Dr. Kemal Seyid di 19.12.2005ê de ji aliyê dadgeheke li Hewlêrê ve bi 30 zindan hate cezakirin. Wî di du nivîsarên xwe de rexne li serokê Kurdistana Iraqê Mesud Barzanî û binmala wî kiribû û dev avêtibû wan. http://www.amude.com

So according to Amude.com and the sister, it seems that Qadir is stil in prison, though press agencies had published the contrary. The paper accuses pro-KDP media to have state that false new. But the sister Gelawêj says he is not free.

I think that Austria has to open a representation in Hewlêr, then.

But Amude is KDP media I heard?

Why would AFP lie? Austria already welcomed the release.

Amude ? I don't know. They are Western Kurds, and with their 22,22222 political parties, difficult to know who they are.

perhaps Dyaoko's right. Qadir is too fond of his cell and does not want to leave it

Well his sister is strange. An earlier message said that he will be freed, but it take some more days. Maybe formailities.
