For your information, don't think being called a Turk is a complimentary word in Armenia. Calling someone a Turk is by far one of the most degrading things Armenians can call someone.

And you live in L.A, what do you know

Stop saying stupid shit. What the do I know? I visit Armenia at least twice a year. It's better to be an Armenian in Turkey than in Armenia? You better shut the hell up, get that Turkish d#ck out of your ass and back up your accusations. I'm still waiting for the articles from Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and UN that say that Dashnaks are fascists.

Tom... Why do you insist on being provocative? Are you Britney Spears or Madonna? :?

No need to be rude... This matter with the Armenians is a sensitive issue - as somebody working for Human Rights etc. I cannot understand how you can be so insensitive...

Armenians are like Kurds in Turkey... If they SAY "I am Armenian/Kurd" they get the cold shoulder - and terror starts: phones, jail, torture, rascism...

I hope you stop for one second and consider what it means to be "Armenian in Turkey"... Living standards or no living standards... I can have a "great life" in luxerious Istanbul - as a Turk... Why don't I?

I'm just amazed how he has the nerves to say something like that knowing the situation between Turks and Armenians. If anybody knows what I'm talking about, I'm sure it's you Diri.

O yes.. one of those crazy MHP nationalists was saying that. Alevi Kurds are Kurds.
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

Yeah I meant "as a turk" of course. But things are changing, a lot of armenians who were afraid to revendicate their identity start doing so. A book was published last year by an armenian of turkey "My grand-mother", telling the story of her forced assimilation (she was saved by a turk family during the genocide and converted to islam). It was a real best seller a the author received thousands of letter of people in the same situation....

And I'm sorry but yeah the level of life is better for Armenian Bourgeois in Istanbul than in Erevan, just a fact! And I'm not sure any of them would like to move to Erevan, or they would have done for a long time no?

And Diri I'm not insensitive, I'm just talking to a guy who a few months ago was talking about reconquest of Western Armenia (I.E North Kurdistan)!!

I'm still waiting for the articles from Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and UN that say that Dashnaks are fascists.

Why don't you check yourself!!!!

Some say alevis kurds are asimilated turks.

Actually I met some assimilated kurds, they are as fascists as some turks, saying bullshit like "my parents WERE kurds, but now we are turks".
What can you reply, it is their choice.... :(

Extract of Dashnak program (official website)

The Armenian Revolutionary Federation's goals are:

A- The creation of a Free, Independent, and United Armenia. The borders of United Armenia shall include all territories designated as Armenia by the Treaty of Sevres as well as the regions of Artzakh, Javakhk, and Nakhichevan.

B- International condemnation of the as yet unpunished Genocide committed by Turkey against the Armenians, return of the occupied lands, and just reparations to the Armenian nation.

C- The gathering of worldwide expatriate Armenians on the lands of United Armenia.

If they are not fascists, they are not living in the same world, that's a fact...

If they are not fasist I dont know what is fasist.

what do you call a turkish organization, aimed to take greece, bulgaria, and all older ottoman lands.

They cannot gain their aims, without exiling and killing large numbers of kurds, turks, and azeris.isnt this a nationalist idea?

I am sure armenians will call some turks, because of their pan-turkish ideas. double standart?

Actually I met some assimilated kurds, they are as fascists as some turks, saying bullshit like "my parents WERE kurds, but now we are turks".

You know becoming a turk is not racial thing

I know, that is why I said that there are a lot of fasist armenians. Thank for helping me to show this.

Hating Turks is not fascism, they are undermen, worse than animals, don't you understand? their ancestors killed armenians, so they are all collectively responsbile for that and should all be killed, so that great armenia from Téhéran to Istanbul can rise again.
