Are you lunatic? His paty Dehap got only 2 million votes and in the next election you can be sure that his part would get less votes than the previous elections!

Votes from ex-Soviet republics (All Yezidi and other Kurds will vote for APO), votes from Eastern-Kurdistan (Iranian-Kurdistan), from South-Kurdistan, votes from Western-Kurdistan, votes from Europe etc…
Show me just one other Kurdish leader who is so popular among Kurds than APO in other parts of Kurdistan

You people don’t even realise how important APO is.

Actually its name has changed to DTP I guess. And, the last poll which was conducted by Vatan nwespaper the party stood between 4 percent and 5.5 percent. It is below the 5.9 percent they got in elections last time.

urfa is not a kurdish city

It was not in 200 AD. Sure, population spoke mostly aramean at this time. But now in the streets, it sounds only Kurdish. :)

I was born in Urfa/Halfeti. There is also substantial number of Arabs living there. And, true in cities people usually use Kurdish and Arabic. But, new generations are more fluent in Turkish due to the compulsary pre-elementary education.

Of course they should speak Turkish but they did not forget Kurdish, and they speak a good Kurdish, not like in Marash (for example).

Arabs were there since ancient times. Before Kurds. A roman emperor Philipp the Arab was from Harran area.

Well in cities like Maraş and Malatya and Gaziantep, kurds are well integrated into the society. The economy isup and running. There is not a tribla socety. The state could exercise aouthority without intermadiaries. I am sure many of them can speak kurdish and proud of their kurdish background but not many of them have joined the ranks of PKK!

Well Alevis of Marash had had a bit trouble to be accepted as ordinary citizens, though... Lot of them fled after massacres, not a nice integration

Yeah that is right unfortunately. In fact alevis are more loyal to turkish identity than sunnis. Stupid government actions of Turkey once again. This kind of behaviour costed Turkey billions of dollars and and precious citizens.
