I'm not really separatist, because the majority of breton population is not!
Anyway even if there were 1 000 000 bretons asking for independance in the street of rennes, nothing would happen, cause France only answer to violence and I disaprove that...

I don't feel french at all, because according to French state my people, my history, my culture and the breton language (which I speak a little because it is not authorized in public schools) don't exist and never existed. I don't feel french because this state claim to be the "country of human right" and tried to kill all differences and diversity on its own soil. It's an hypocritical state, totally centralized around a city who have no respect for the rest of the country and acts as if it does not exist.

So here I am, I don't ask for independance, actually I ask for nothing at all, but I will never be French, only on my I.D because I have no choice. If I emigrate to Canada it won't be a problem to get rid of the french nationality which is absolutely nothing for me :)

And why would we want to separate? Well because France is going worse and worse, more and more racist, more and more hypocritical, closed to the rest of the world, and I think it is a pity when I travel abroad I have to say "I'm french". Sounds really weird for me!!!

Me zo breizhad, n'on ket galleg, hag echu eo! (I'm Breton, not french, and that's all!) Bevet Breizh Dieub! (Long live free Britanny!) 8)

LOL I did not say that, I said that EVEN IF that would happen, France would not do anything: no action, no reform, no evolution.

For exemple when the Breton "regional assembly" votes for credits for breton language, there is always a "state council" or "constitutional council" to say that it is illegal because "Language of the republic is french".

I said "answer TO violence" not "by violence". I mean that if you want to have cultural rights in France, it's better to get a mafia, put bombs everywhere and kill prefects than to try to use democracy...

When you begin with this new party Tomjez?
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

well some Brittons had tried to destroy a McDonald (I've missed the day when Ronald McDonald made a statement against Brittons..),but it had less success than in Corsica sure.

Seriously I think that the main problem is the lack of mobilization of these people for independance. Even in Corsica they don't want it really. But within European Union, perhaps these regions could hope a kind of authonomy/federalism as in Cataluna or Spanish Euzkadia.

That's all I wish ! Who cares about independance, as long as we don't depend exclusively from incompetent parisians!!!

By the way all the independentists have been released (after 4 years in jain without trial of course) for this Mc Donald thing.

And you can see today in newspaper that 2 other guys have been released in corsica: french "anti terrorist" courts love to keep innocent in jail, but in the end they look like jerks

Tomjez, you are not happy to have a French I.D.?...well I can comfort you: your situation could be worse, you could be ...Italian(like me  ).

A Minister last week wore a t-shirt with the anti-islamic cartoons printed!!!! Is this politics?or just a show?It is shit!
This was just a little example, but you surely know a lot about my country,I don't need to say more. So depressing.

Don't worry, we're getting there, we have tons of potential berlusconi coming up.

Recently a socialist region president said that the "harkis" (arabs who fought on the french side during algeria war) were "undermen"

You see, not far from italy.

And no, I'm not happy to have a french I.D. République Française killed the breton language, colonized half of africa, supports dictators in Africa...and still thinks it is the leading nation of the world. It's just like a weak annoying america that nobody listens to anymore...but I'm in there :(

I admit I am glad to see not everybody inside of France is a proud nationalist! This was the idea I got from people when I was in Toulouse, then in Montpellier and of course La Ville lumière!

I studied History of international relations(1918-1990) in a book written by a French(Jean-Baptiste Duroselle)and it seemed like France is and was the best and most important country in the world and colonization was such a nice thing!

Good there are not only people like that in France! Thank you Tomjez! :D :D
