Emmanuah, Amina is the closest I can think of and even first when I saw ur name I thought Is Amina. Do u know who Amina was?[/quote]
Well...Amina was a very popular name all around the middle east and africa. But do you mean the Prophet (PBUH) Muhommed's mother? I know that it means something like "secure" in Arabic. But in my book "Uppity Women of All Time"

(of course I would have a book with that title right!), there is also a famous queen from Afica named Amina who was famous for her warrior skills.
"Emmunah", is my Hebrew name and it means "Faith". It's not a common hebrew name at all, and it mostly refers to faith in God, but I try to have faith in humanity, the future, and everything else too. But Emmanuah, is the way other people often spell my name, and that's what puzzles me...not that it's misspelled, because who cares about that, but that it is always the same mispelling. This made me wonder if it meant something, or it was a coincidence.
Also, isn't the name of the women leading the Muslim Prayers named Amina?
Amina is a pretty name. But tell me what you were thinking of?
