PostAuthor: Babek » Wed Jul 05, 2006 12:25 pm

Dear friends,
Please visit Kurdish Academy of Language [KAL] website (http://www.kurdishacademy.org). You will find a standard kurdish unified alphabet, which will be useful for us to write like each other all over the world specially in internet. I will be happy to hear from you. What is your opinion about mentioned alphabet. Best regards
Babek

hi babek, "khosh amadi" :D

hmmmm, with all my respect to kak Alí Bedir Xan(Elî Bedîrxanî *even his name wasnt spellt correctly!), but what has happened here? :?
i blv that he was the founder of the latini kurdish alphabet, but there is lots of mistakes using this alphabet in the link u've given.
now, im not a kurmanci speaker, but i still could pick the mistakes at the very first page!

thats what was there at the welcoming page: :|
"Herwekí me cend jaran gotiye yekitiya mileté kurd bi yekítiya zimané kurdí téte pé. Di yekítiya zimané de gava péshín jhí yekítiya herfan e. Yaní jhi bona nivísandina zimané miletekí divét zana ú xwendewarén wí miletí bi tevayí jhi bona zimané xwe elfabeyeké bibijhérin ú heke di wí zimaní de cand zar hene, zar hemí bi wé elfabé béne nivísandin."

kak babek please continue discussion here than in private messages, others members of the forums know much more about latin script than me ... and peopel can say their idea about your site here , I am not an expertise.
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then YOU WIN !

In my oppinion: NO...

Why do we make things to damn hard for ourselves? Kurds are realy stupid sometimes...

I mean come on - we only NEED ONE... Not two or THREE different Latînî scripts...

And you know WHY we should pick the one we ALREADY have been using for AGES? Because:

WE HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR AGES! Every lesson in Kurdî Latînî in Europe is done with the Latînî standard - just like MY lessons - for 13 years: Kurdî Latînî... :?

I am not gonna bow to a new style of writing just because it's "unified"... Why the silly name anyway? Is that some way of saying that one is better? I mean come on - so ` s look realy ugly on the letters:

ì ù è

Look how much better the other ones look:

î û ê

They look RIGHT... The "unified" ones look like they are incomplete... :P

Anyway - I have strong oppinions regarding this matter - because I have been studying Kurdish at school with LATÎNÎ standard Kurdî and ALL the books published in Europe the last century - have been published in KURDÎ LATÎNÎ... Not in "Unified"...
