So a discussion at "What type of Kurdistan" lead me to the question: What does your name mean - Is it Kurdish?


My name is Sohrab - Sohrab is the Persian version of the KURDISH name Zohrav- Zohrav consists of two words - "Zohr" and "Av" - "Av" meaning water and "Zohr" meaning strenght...

Sohrab = Zohrav = Strong water... Or Water Lord or Water Master or Strenght of Water...

Hey - I just only remembered - My name could also be "SOR" and "AV" - Meaning= RED WATER... Kurdish blood maybe :P

Kassem - just ask me if you find a name you like - then I will tell you WHAT it means... Its not any harder than that bro! :D

I think your name might either be - Hasan, Mustafa or Metin... I don't know.. haven't lived in Turkey long enough to know... :wink:

Why not give me a better hint?

And just ask me about the meanings of the names... no stress... Find one you like...

Whatever dude... I really am no fan of Turks... And Arabs and Persians... I mean I am not rascist -BUT I Don't like them more than I like Europeans and Others... They are the people I like the least...
