Which Kurdî do you speak?
I vote Sorani!
All my Kurdish friends are from north Kurdistan and they all speak Kurmanji, which is very similar to Sorani so i understand it with no probs.
In Kurmanji they say the "V" whereas in Soran we say the "W" .e.g
Kurmanji: Vallah
Sorani: Wallah
Zaza is slightly similar to Kurmaji but dayymm its hard to understand!

That is because Kurmancî and Soranî are both Kurmancî... Kurmancî's and Soranî's real names are:
South Kurmancî= Soranî
North Kurmancî= Kurmancî
Zazakî and Goranî belong to the other Kurdish group: Pehlewanî - that is why they are hard to understand... Because Kurmancî and Pehlewanî are two different Kurdî's...
And difference between North and South Kurmancî is more than just "v" and "w"It's that in North we use different sexes - you don't have that in South... You use "î" ending for both female and male----> We use "ê" for male and "a" for female...
Examples:
North:
Mamosta min (My female teacher)
Mamostê min (My male teacher)
South:
Mamostî min (My teacher) Correct me if I am wrong... Maybe you rather pronounce it: "Mamostey min"?![]()
Anyway... You get my point I hope...

The correct sentences would be:

My answer would be: Northern Kurmanci dialect

This is totally wrong sentence(WHAT???) from some one who either don’t("Doesn't" would be the right word) understand English or have("Has" - you are talking about "some one" - you can't say "have" ----> it's wrong... So you have to write "has") wrong assumption (wrong assumption? Dear - you should use a better word than that) about Kurdish languages .Kurdish is only one language (where is your ","? I mean the COMMA!) however it has different dialect(you forgot the "S" - "DialectS"
).

No - it is YOU who is wrong...
Which KURDÎ do you speak... Meaning they ARE ALL KURDÎ! So HAH you are wrong... Don't be so eager next time... And maybe you'll see it before you humiliate yourself...
And let me correct your spelling mistakes for you:
Quote:

So you're the one who doesn't understand English...
Now ----> Which Kurdî do you speak = Which Kurdish do you speak... So they are ALL KURDISH...
But don't come and tell me that Pehlewanî and Kurmancî are the mutually-intelligable... THEY AREN'T... Ergo they are two DIFFERENT Kurdî's...
Any objections? Please go ahead... Science is on my side...

Diri!! Honestly you have mental problem, you shall check your mental stage, such excitement and narrow minded, I still challenge such sentence you can ask any Kurdish scientist or English one for such.
You can not mix word “kurdi” word with English sentence, the sentence you have created it is totally wrong..
You do not ask someone which Kurdish do you speaks, ? But instead you tell them. Which Kurdish dialect do you speak; we only have one Kurdish language with many different dialect, is way you say is more like Kurds enemy propaganda, “which Kurdish??
And about grammar mistake I did had mistakes, however mistake is not as great as you misleading peoples by creating such stupid sentence, plus my English no doubt is much better and higher than you
Also about my nick name dude!! It is obvious you don’t know English!! Check in WIKI ”womanizer” before you judge, okay queen?
Be polite and respect full, admit your mistake.,
And also be sure I can change u until end, unless I be banned as you a admin something, no wonder you bargaining!! Yeah, bring it on baby!!!

1) THERE IS ONLY ONE KURDISH LANGUAGE... So there is NOTHING to discuss.
2) I wrote KURDÎ because I am a KURDISH NATIONALIST.
3) There ARE different KURDÎ'S:
Kurmancî Kurdî
Soranî Kurdî
Goranî Kurdî
Kirmanckî Kurdî

womanizer wrote:[Edit: No more name-calling! And clean your act. trying to tell people you are "more Kurdish than their entire family" because you have blue eyes, is the most stupidious argument I have heard so far.]
@diri
I think Dirri dude , you grow up in violent family, probably grow up with hitting and bashing ,
You mixing everything or you don’t understand at all, even u mix word “ kurdi” sentence still is wrong,
you must say ”WHAT KURDI DIALECT DO YOU SPEAK?? OR WHAT KURDISH DIALECT DO YOU SPEAK??”
You even don’t know what you are talking about!! You call yourself Kurdish nationalist?? What have you done for Kurdistan!! At least you should spent some your free time in AFJ forum that ,help the cause , rather annoying other Kurds ,you even don’t know how to categories your sentence, all I was saying was the sentence is wrong if you thinking you are Kurdish nationalist, as you finalize just before after my respond, yes Kurdish is only one language with different dialect
Accusing me as English, dude I am Kurd real Kurd with blue eyes, more Kurd than you and your entire family!!!
I do accept my grammar mistakes, and I do apologies to readers!! Because I am at work don’t have time like you run through grammar check, or look for dictionary,
