Assimilation: A person enters a new society with a new culture - He leaves his culture to fit into narms and culture of that new culture... OKEY?

Integration: A person enters a new society with a new culture -
He KEEPs his own culture BUT also fits into the new culture...

SHOLL: BORN with germen mother, and turkish father... his father leaves at age 5.. he sees no more of Turkishness... His mother marries a german - SHOLL I HENCE NOT GIVEN A CHANCE TO BE TURKISH... A child knows NOTHING about "culture"... He just lives as his parents have told him to... So he has not GOT a different culture in the first place to EVEN be integrated... HE WAS FIVE MAN!!!

Appereantly I need to explain and define the concept of "culture" for you too now...


Culture: Culture can not be learned through books and such... Culture you muct learn through interaction with a group of people... (in e.g your family)

The concept of culture is not a simple one - yes not just most people - like you say - but actually EVERYBODY LEARNS about their culture... but you are forgetting an important thing - CULTURE MUST BE PRACTICED - it can't be learnet through internet or books... One thing is to KNOW what your culture is... another thing is to USE your culture... and appereantly you haven't figured that out yet...


Lets take an example: A son or daughter kisses his/her grandparents hand to show respect... SHOLL - CANT READ ABOUT THIS:.. HE MUST LIVE IT AND DO IT!
