I know you're not Assyrian, so you won't know this Vladimir, but we speak what scholars refer to as "Assyrian Aramaic" because much of our language is infused with Akkadian. Most Assyrians have Akkadian-English dictionaries (like me!!) and the words (especially verbs and nouns) are actually Akkadian.

So yes, we speak Assyrian. Aramaens, thankfully, gace us our wonderful alphabet, now used by Arabs and Jews.

Arameans are part of Assyrian Empire, you can that Assyrians and Armeans are two people mixed in one nation. Arameans are the descendents of Aram the son of Noah and Assyrians are the descendents of Ashur the other son of biblical Noah. Assyrian kings brought many defeated Arameans from countries which Assyrians conquered like Syrian into their Assyrian empire of Iraq.
So how can a defeated people wipe out the victor, how can few defeated people destroy an Empire?!

Personally, I don't see the point in discussing anybody's "existence"...

Kurds should stop trying to discredit Assyrians and Assyria... And Assyrians should stop trying to discredit Kurds and Kurdistan...

We are who we choose to be... And we choose our forefathers - not the other way around, because in the end, NOBODY knows 100% who their great great great (etc.) grand father was back in 200 BC...
