post simmliar words in europearn languages to Kurdish

Discuss about language(s) in English

PostAuthor: Parsi » Wed Dec 20, 2006 12:55 pm

I guess it depends on which Turkish you are talking about Diri can...

We all know Osman Turkish is FILLED with Arabic and Aryan words. Take away all those and all you have left is su, san, giz, and guz :P

Ozbek to a less degree - even though they use Aryan grammer in their language sometimes such as:

Shaydoman and not manim shaydo.

Kirgiz and Kazakh have tot diff vocabulary and grammer.
Look to your history and roots to find your true self.

I don’t know why having such topic.

Kurdish is Indo-European language.

Indo_european languages means, they all came from same root and family of language. For example, if one has a bit brain understands both Kurdish and English. They are same. Why looking few words??
What is this kind nonsense comparing Kurdish with European language, when some of European language which belong to Indo-European languages rooted from same family, this it is kind insult. Let them compare it.

In other hand,

Today globalization and colonial past even Chinese and Japanese have common word with European I am sure they can find more common word.
Her tîşt ji Bu Medya,Ji Bu Kurdistan!!!
The Medes,The First!!!

You're welcome bro. Well my Russian is not perfect, I know some Russian. I'm also introduced with some other European languages like German, Italian, Spanish, French, etc. My mother tongue is Kurdish (Sorani dialect, accent of Sna) and I can speak Persian, Turkish, Azerbaijani as mother tongue too.

Kak Emanoel, bi xoşî hatî - û gellek keyfxoşim kû beşdarî forûma Roj Bash Kurdistan î... :)

However, I have to say - some of the words you wrote, are not Kurdish by root in the last post you made... Like Mey = Arabic... In Kurdish, Wine = Şeraw (War water)... This name also reveals the purpose, or should I say, one of the ways in which wine was consumed in Kurdistan in the old days - as a drink to make your blood flood and boil, to make you ready for war... :)

Dîsa - bi xoşî hatî! Ser çawan...

I think you have been a member for a while, but I haven't seen you active on the forums before now... :) So welcome...
