hello everyone, watz up..
well,i'm goona introduce my self...
i'm Siver From Kurdistan in 19 of age, single, student..and i'm new member has just arrived, here new member..i hope that i'll be welcomed even my english is not so goood...
but if you don't mind, i've a question about this land..
can we write our posts in kurdish even in other Forms.?

If your write in Kurdish, many people(like Me) wont understand you. Many people here aren't even Kurdish(like Me)

Welcome to Roj Bash Kurdistan... Is your name Şiver or Siver? :)

I'm a Kurdish student based in Norway - 22 years old...

Since the language of the forums is English, we must write in English - most our members are non-Kurds (not Kurds)... :)

And no - your English is GOOD! :D Besides: if you don't practice writing English - how will you improve?

Dear Diri, i'm Siver ( peymannamey Siver in 10 august 1920),from Hawler ( south Kurdistan)....
thank you again and i'll try to write english as possible as i could..

You mean "Sevrès"? :) The treaty which enshrined Kurdish statehood... :D

dear diri, i think you'r right, but my father named me ( Sîver ) even i think the true name of this deal was ( Sêvir ) afterthat ( Lozan) destroyed every thing in 1923 as i think, and my daddy's specialist is history and geographic then he prefers this kind of names than other names especially damn arabic names, and yeah i'm from Hewlêr and Çawt xoş pismam..

Thanks for the link - I already know what there is to know about it... :)

Articles 62 and 64 (if my memory serves me right) should be the ones about an autonomous Kurdistan - which would be joined by the Mosul Vilayet if it so wished...


Indeed it was all replaced by the Treaty of Lousanne... Sadly... But much to our own mistakes... :roll:


And about "Sevrès" vs. "Sîver" - it's just the way Kurds say it some places... Doesn't make the name less meaningful... I like your name very much... And I don't like Arabic names (for Kurds) either... :roll:

Yes - I am a moderator here... And thank you for your kind words... I am very pleased to hear you feel that way - and I hope you enjoy yourself here... Roj Bash Kurdistan forum is based on the principals of liberal and free thinking - freedom of speech - with all the privilages and responsibilities that invovles: including no hate-speech or discrimination, nor racism - and the freedom to speak of whatever one wishes, preserved that one does not offend or insult... :)

And what I like about Roj Bash Kurdistan the most, is that it's full of non-Kurds - who all are either interested in Kurdistan or who wish to learn more about Kurdistan... :)

So thank you for contributing and helping us make people aware of the Kurdish people and Kurdistan... Xizmetekî gewreye birakem, bo xelk- û gelîman... :)
