the syrian baath party are very unjust to kurds.also mohammed said al-omar should be released cause there is no proof he did anything wrong. i think the syrians arrest him cause he is kurd. the syrian baath party do not let kurds have passports so they cannot leave syria. they do not let kurds have any rights.

i have never been to syria. i have heard that kurds considered foreigners when they are even born in syria. also if a kurd leave syria to go on holiday to another country then the kurd is denied back entry into syria. is this true?

I believe they are not ( those who are considered foreigners) allowed to leave the country period . They can apply for syrian passport , so there is no way for them to travel . It is unbelievable when you think about it , We actually live in the 21st century .

Are you positive about the information? When I resided in Turkey I used go to Aleppo once in a while since it was located not far from where I was located. There were great bazaars in Aleppo. The mosques are beautiful in Aleppo as well.

maybe i was not enough in detail. what i ment is i do not know if all kurds are oppressed as much in syria. maybe it is mostly kurds that are members of azadi party and kurds that support it. you are not kurd so that is why the syrians probably nice to you when you go to syria.

I think the reason why I didn't have any problems visiting Syria is because I never had a Political discussion with a Baathist. It seems The Baath Socialist Arab Party oppresses anyone who doesn't support or agree with their Fascist Socialist Ideology.
