I forgot the 4. direction, its "-í/-é halí" and means not the first but next away.

how do you say if something is that far that reach the horizont?![]()
now i know why turks dont let Kurmandji - they have too small brains and will get crazy with it

Kulka wrote:its really difficult language, but its the proof that kurdish culture is of high standard.
i forget to add - when we use latin in sorani the letter j is like in english (e.g.like in John), but sometimes we use it in words where should be read like zh - for example "roj' - its a bit confusing (thats why i prefer original script) - good example is the word jazhn. we have more wired things like that in sorani
- for example sometimes we read the letter G like in english "get" and sometimes like in John. sometimes we read the letter K like normal k and sometimes like "ch"
- in the same word i mean both pronunciations are correct (for example words gyan and kwe)

foot - pe
leg - Qach ........................
dog - seg
to buy - i know only krin .......................... Senin is also used
that time - am jara ................................ew jare, ew wexte, ew kate.....
then - i personally i use "dwuayi", but it means "later' - i think .......then- for (then go to the next door) Kulka xan is correct you can use "dwayi" (after that go to the next door) but "inca"= "then" inca biro = then go
when - katek................................"When you go to work.." " KE roshti bo ish....." you can use katek too.
room - zhuur (Jur in Kirmanci script)
i dont know "to let" and "to stand" might be "hastan' (dont laugh if i am talking rubbish )ple use the Latin Script for Sorani, we have somehow our own version![]()
letting = heshtin ..
however there are 2 kinds of "let" let as a command and "let" as the "subjunctive" - nice subject we have been talking about![]()
let (command) = bihelle
let (subjunctive ) = ba
if you are ordering someone to let him be a teacher "bihelle mamosta bet"
if you are expressing wishes for someone to be a teacher "ba mamosta bet"
for example when you say let's go .. you are not ordering anyone to LET US GO....you are just expressing a wish.
(malimek is arabic) and how is "bila" arabic??
standing: be pewe bun- he is standing "be peweye" or "WESTAN" ... "deweste = he stands" people use westan for waiting too ... however "standing up" is "hallstan : hastan- hallsan"
