I know, but i meant that it is ridiculous he comes up with 300 jets, as we don't have jets, and even if we had, that amount would be too high.

Peshmerga

PostAuthor: alan131210 » Fri Apr 27, 2012 5:49 pm

Peshmerga under secretary , Jabar Yawar , announced today , that Baghdad's request to hand over the heavy weapon of Peshmerga forces is unconstitutional and accused central of withholding the budget of Peshemrga since 2007.

"instead of spreading such nonsense , they should hand us more heavy weapons to protect our region, and the request under any circumstances will be rejected firmly, we urge Baghdad to refrain from such statements in the future". he added.

Yawar added saying "On the contrary , Peshmrga will continue to equip itself from any threats the region might be facing in the future".

when was the film taken? was it when they entered kirkuk?
and does anyone know how many MT-LB`s we have? (the heavy vehicles stationed on the back of the trucks are MT-LB)
According to some sites i found Iraqi army operates 61 of them,i am not sure if that includes peshmerga or not.

yes,the chopper in the picture is japanese :)
but if you read this http://www.xendan.org/dreja.aspx?jmara=32492 it says KRG will buy transport helis for ambulance.
i also saw on the news in 2011 that they were going to buy some light traffic police helicopters and some medium ambulance helicopters.
The traffic police helicopters turned out to be EC120B,which is a light helicopter as they said.and the SA 330/IAR 330 is a medium transport/utility chopper. And some months ago KRG officals where in Romania were they disscused buying weapons from romanian weapon manufacturing companies(and Romania produces IAR 330,an Romanian Version of SA 330) .
so the picture is japanese, but it is possible that KRG have bought/ordered some IAR/SA 330 for ambulance :)

These monkeys who work for al Saddami in baghdad forgot that Peshemrga fought for years and they are saving kurdistan from terrorists , and we bought the weapons ourselves , baghdad has not even fucking given a bullet to peshmerga :-$ , the so called captured iraqi weapons are old and need rebuilding so they are rubbish as you can see none of the weapons in the video belong to Saddam's captures ,so they have basically announced that they want to steal the weapons we have paid for with kirkuk's oil ??? i dont fucking think so now go back to bed you bunch of losers , go enjoy your 4 hours of electricity  .

After been officially invited by the Romanian Government, a delegation from Peshmerga Ministry participates in Romanian weapon exhibition in Bucharest . The delegation was received by the finance minister and later they participated in the weapon exhibition , the Pesh. delegates closely saw some heavy and light weaponry , and information was exchanged , then the delegate paid a visit to a local weapon factory.

The Peshmerga delegate stayed for 10 days and met with 19 weapon manufacturing companies , the 2 sides discussed buying Tanks , armed vehicles and fighter jets and negotiations are still ongoing .

does anyone know how that meeting went? did we buy any heavy weapons from romnia?

i say it has been kept under the radar , and the tank orderes could be part of this , but we might never know until we see them pop up on tv like we did when peshmerga entered kirkuk and diyala and we saw all these new heavy weapons they had in possession which non of us had ever seen before ! .

i say the reason behind this is to make iraq iran and turkey unaware of what pesh possess in case they bark like iraq did yesterday .

@ Rando what kind of jets do you think the Romanians have that KRG is interested in !!!

That depends on if we are going to bulid our air force by their planes or are we gonna buy a more modern air force from an other country.
if the rumors about us buying F-16s (or other more advanced jets) is true,we may be looking to buy some advanced jet fighter trainers like IAR 99 from romania,Which is a very very good trainer aircraft.
but if we are going to bulid our main air force (not trainers, the main fighters) by jets from romania it will most likely be MiG-21 lanceR.
I think we are going to buy the Mig-21s for now,and later buy other trainer aircraft so we can bulid a more modern air force.
Note: Romania is willing to sell almost all its planes. it is gonna buy F-18`s,F-16s and Typhoons for its air force and retire its old air crafts. but it lacks funds, therefore i bet they are willing to sell alot of their air force/army.
If we see romania operate F-16s/F-18s or typhoons soon, that may be a sign that we bought weapons from them! (we or/and some other countries)
