And how do you write 'today' in Kurdish sorani?
Btw, what does this ء do to a vowel?

ه is the sound of latin "e" for eg: hurry
while ا is the long sound for "a" in latin, eg: last

today is "emrro" for latin and ئه‌مڕۆ in sorani script .

ء is "e" sound used at the begin of a word , for example ; errom , exewim , egerrêm .

in latin we dont have that vowel but it is used with the "e" sound at the beginning of a word .

When you say "Errom" that is how it is spelt , does it sound different ? It's always at the beginning in the "e" letter

Like I said the ە‎ vowel is pronounced as the vowel in (hurry,dust,cut...) for eg , while ێ‎ is the vowel sound found in (pear,bear,wear,where,care...)

ە‎ = e in Latin

an german online dictionary says "bîrûbawerî". i know that bawer means belive -> bawer neke = dont belive it

but in my famaly we use "gora min".
ji gora min re bashe = in my opinion its ok/good

"gora min" doesnt mean my opinion, literally it means "according to me"

opinion must be "bîrûbawerî" in kurmanci, since bawer means belive
