I don't think it is the center in itself which was the target but Sakine Cansiz.

So perhaps other high ranked people could be reached, perhaps not.

Not sure myself. If they were only after Sakine Cansiz why would the risk going into the centre not knowing if the centre was being watched, if there was CCTV inside and not knowing who else might be in the centre. If it was only Sakine Cansiz they were after they could have waited and caught her outside on her own?

Now I am sure that it was Turkish government behind this because erDOGan is saying just what I expected him to:

BBC News:

PKK Paris deaths: Turkey PM Erdogan blames 'internal feud

Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan has suggested that the murder of three Kurdish activists was the result of an internal feud.

The three women were found shot dead at the Kurdish information centre in Paris on Thursday.

The victims included Sakine Cansiz - a co-founder of the militant nationalist Kurdistan Workers' Party, the PKK.

Mr Erdogan said evidence suggested the deaths may have been intended to sabotage efforts towards peace talks

The centre is not seriously watched ( We call it center but it is only a 3 rooms apartment). And the killers, by locking the door had 6 hours to flee. And it is more and more probable that they enter with the victims or that the victims opened to them. The door was not broken at all.

There no CCTV in the CIK. Perhaps in the streets, but not in the Office, which is a very small, dark, dusty place, with 2 large windows opening on the street (so in summer everybody could threw a bomb from the street…).

I wonder sometimes if I should not draw a plan of the apartment and post it here.

btw now a Turkish TV is here… or Turkish killers, who knows :-D

So it was really an 'execution' and probably with a silent weapons because the place is not deserted.

definitely the work of hate towards these woman. Otherwise 1-2 bullets in the head would have been enough. Seems like the work of Ultra-Nationalists.

If France reveals the murder we will know it was no plan of the official Turkish state, but if they do not reveal the murder, though I am sure they can only by looking at some of the video material (who has left the area as last person), I am sure the Turkish intelligence services are behind this.

Do you think it is a one-off attack or could other such centres be at risk?

Let us all hope and pray that the killers will be found soon otherwise there may well be serious repercussions, infighting within the party and further fighting between Turks and Kurds in France and other countries as well

or Syria which has a big interest to make fail the peace.

If PKK disarm, YPG also, without financial and armed support. Bashar (and also Iran) NEEDs a strong Syrian PKK. So an agreement between PKK and Turkey means that YPG will disarm also. Then Syrian Peshmergas will enter and unite with SNC. Not good for Basho… a new alliance Turkey-PKK-KRG-KNC vs Baath-Maliki-Iran.

The women were found with their coats and suitcase next to the door. So they were ready to go or just arrived. Probably the killer(s) accompanied them with their luggages and was called by the victims to help them to carry the suitcases.

It was professional actions. PKK killers is not so skillful like that when they execute, but Syrian or Iranian agents, yeah they can do everything.

Apparently the murderer took the keys and locked behind himself. I am sure he knew the place very well.

Also the victims knew him. There was no signs of forced-entry, which indicates that the victims knew the murderer and opened the door for him. the place was without road number, not a lot of people knew it except those close to the victims. So they are assassinated either because of internal feuds or Turkish Government infiltrators to Kurdish community in Paris.

The first details of the autopsy report on the bodies of Sakine Cansız, Fidan Doğan and Leyla Şaylemez are coming through. It is understood that the autopsy put the death of the three Kurdish women between 6 and 7pm on Wednesday 9 January. The autopsy also confirmed that the three women were hit in the head by more than one bullet.

“One of them was hit by four bullets on the head, and two others were hit by three bullets each”, said a judicial source speaking to French channel TF1.

According to report by TF1, 9 bullet casings and three cartridge bullets were found during the examinations started at the scene after the discovery of bodies of three Kurdish activists. The bullets are said to have been fired from a 7.65 mm caliber pistol. The number of pistols used in the bloody attack is expected to become clear after the announcement of a ballistic investigation into the incident.

No one has claimed responsibility or been arrested for the attack so far. A witness who reportedly heard consecutive gunshots from the scene on Wednesday afternoon has born testimony to French authorities, according to initial reports received on the ongoing investigation.
