My thoughts of the day

This is where you can talk about every subject (previously it was called shout room)

Yesterday, at evening, found a corpse in the street, next to the garbage. People threw all sort of things nowadays.

All that general moaning about Chavez' death perplexes me. As when people cried about Qadhafi's death and when they'll cry about Fidel Castro's.

Student who asked to see a dozen of books, and when they arrive on their table, sigh, look over them during 5 mn, ask lazily if they can read them at home, and after a refusal, say lazily : "ok i will come back' and leave the library… for ever.

Perhaps it was KurdInEurope wanting to learn the truth for a change, and then decided he would just continue in ignorance and go on accusing others of being Turkish spies :ymdevil:

@Leyli_Kord
I wonder what people are eating that is causing such tooth decay.

Sugar (Prehistoric ppl did not have these problems). But in my case I never eat sugar (I dislike it) so I am a scientific oddity.

more over the dentist said by looking at the radio it was less serious he feared. So I escape to false teeth for a moment…

Someone asked me by email if Shiite Kurds from Ilam are feyli. (In fact I don't know).

Some one asked me if someone wrote a book about Lekistan (the land of Kurds who speak Leki dialect). I answered I don't think.

Some one asked me if I knew a teacher of Kurdish dances in Paris. The weird thing is that she lives in Athena, so I don't see what she could do with a Parisian teacher.

Gland you have had some good news :D

Not sure about sugar causing tooth decay NOBODY eats more chocolate than I do - I was thrown out of Weight Watchers for eating a giant bar of chocolate while the woman was giving a talk on their slimming products :ymdevil:

It is probably because of your job that people assume you know everything there is to know about Kurds - you know more than I do

1. Yes, but not every single one of them. There are laks, luris and other tribes. But they supposedly predominantly speak feyli kurdish.
2.Well they wrote about lekistan, but not specifically lekistan.

Thanks for the answers.

March 8th. Women's Day. Kendal Nezan will probably offer roses to all his female staff (he does it every year). And then you feel yourself stupid with a big and long rose in the hand, in the train, while everybody wonder if it is for THAT day. :ymblushing:

I remember Women's Day in a Kurdish community centre. Lots of lovely Kurdish ladies all dressed up and looking happy :))

I remember the jealous Kurdish men who remained in the stairwell or cafe next door. They kept trying to come in to see what their wives were doing X(

Many Kurdish men wanted me to teach them English but very few wanted their wives to learn English X(

Spring here. Yesterday, enjoyed Nassereddin Shah and his 84 wives.

This afternoon, I have to work my surety.

THREE HOURS of Sureth. I am exhausted and all books are bad for learning.
