Quick translation anyone?

PostAuthor: nadal55 » Thu May 09, 2013 3:14 am

Ok this may be a little off topic but i figured this would be the most appropriate board to ask on :-D

I need the proverb "Deal with your friends as if they will become your enemies tomorrow, deal with your enemies as if they will become your friends tomorrow" in it's original Kurdish for a project i'm working on.

Any chance anyone could help out with a translation into Kurdish and a phoneic 'english' pronunciation as well?

If I were to alter your saying into colloquial English I would write:

"Treat your friends well for they may become your enemies tomorrow, treat your enemies well for they may become your friends tomorrow" :D

In England we have two saying:

"Keep your friends close and your enemies, closer."

"Be kind to people on your way up because you may meet them on your way down."

I hope this helps :D
