Today was a holiday in England :D

Instead of giving people one day haolidays in middle of week England prefers to tack it on to the nearest weekend to give us a longer weekend break so we could go away for a few days and work on our suntans ;;)

Today was an excellent day to sit in the sun :ymhug:

I found your map very interesting. I had no idea that Kurds were hoping to gain so much land :ymdevil:

tomorrow and thursday, no work. Good to live in a Catholic country which was occupied by Nazis ! :lol:

Oh yeah, sure. Many military and resistance ceremonies and commemoration for deported and gazed people, etc.

There is nothing in England ? Poor people, without you, all Europe would have been nazi and you don't have any benefits.

8 May Victory Day
9 May Ascension Feast
20 May Pentecost Monday (now some people are working and give that FREE day for old people (that LAZY humans) :ymdevil:
14 July : National Day
15 August : Assumption of Mary
1 November : Toussaint
25 December : Christmas

2 days more than you :p

I have to add that ordinary workers have 5 weeks of holidays per year and have to work no more than 35 hours per week (or be paid more).

Of course teachers have more holidays : the same than their students.

Without the boughnouls, there would be no de gaulle during ww2, and certainly no france. I thank allah, we were hostile and smart enough to avoid being involved in ww2, i'm just sorry the north-africans and pakistanis weren't smart enough to do the same. I'm even sorrier that the europeans had to drag their buisness into our lands.

You are a zero in Kurdish history, obviously. In Syria and Lebanon (French Mandate), Xoybûn was for De Gaulle, while Arabs were for nazis.

My Kurdish friends call it Kurdistan :D

When I write Kurdish friends in this context, I am referring to real genuinely proud KURDS I am certainly NOT referring to the Mountain Turks :ymdevil:

My last purchase on kindle Library. Hope it is good.

Watched 'Weaving Girl' of Wang Quan'an : so annnnnoooooying movie and story. So i was happy when the heroin AT LAST died and it was the END.


And WHY old cats become cranky, grumpy, whinny and mewl ALL THE TIME. Worse than having a baby here. I will cook a 'Piling kebab' X(

I am more into action thrillers with twists, and stories that makes it difficult to put the book down or switch the Kindle off :D

I have a Kindle but still prefer books - my home is full of old books :))

He is born in July 1999, so not far from 14 years. At this age many cats become worse than spoilt children.
