I'm crazy about such things that @Anthea made me discover. I wonder why the sound of water (fall, rain, spring) calms me instantly, more than everything.

I love using these as screen savers. I am thinking to buy a much larger monitor so that I have these aquariums running all the time :x

Strange thing is that I love listening to the running water on screen BUT if I stand near a fountain the sound of REAL running water makes me want to PEE 8-}

Hey you're right : i realize also that a virtual sound has no effect on my bladder. Strange/ Perhaps our brain is able to make the difference.

In supermarket, I have been attacked by a can of white beans. My thumb is puffy and my shoulder is a bit shaken. If only I had not had the stupid reflex to grip that thing to avoid its fall. It fell all the same… on my hand. X(

Hope you will not suffer any long term damage but just in case SUE make sure that the supermarket has a record of the accident in their accident book (it is the law in England) then SUE them for compensation :ymdevil:

Go to a hospital or your doctor and have this put on your medical records in case you experience any problems.

Seriously, you could receive enough money to live in Kurdistan or run away with a certain man ;)

Buns with raisins, Pine Nuts and Apple

Combine 3/4 cup of milk and 4 tablespoons of butter in a small saucepan and scald the mixture, bringing it to just under a boil. Then letting it cool to body temperature. Add 1 cup of bread-flour (with yeast within), 1/4 brown sugar,2 eggs, and a bit salt. Then add 3 additional cups of flour until the dough can be kneaded. Turn the dough on a lightly floured work surface. Knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic, adding more flour if it is sticky, for about 8-10 mn. Form the dough into a ball.

Lightly oil a large bowl. Transfer the dough in it, turning the ball to coat it with the oil. Cover the bowl and let it rise in a warm area (an oven at temperature body is ok) until it is doubled its volume (c. 2 hours).

Meanwhile, in another bowl, mix apples (4 small) in dices, 1/3 cup of raisins, 1/4 cup pine nuts, 1 cup brown sugar and 4 tablespoon ground cinnamon.

When the dough has risen, transfer it to a floured work surface and roll it into a 22-by-11 inch rectangle. Spread 4 tablespoon of softened butter, leaving a 1/2 inch border. Sprinkle the apple mixture evenly over the butter. Roll the dough into a log, and using a thin and sharp knife, cut the dough into slices about 3/4 inch wide.

Grease a large baking sheet. Arrange the rolls on the sheet, almost touching one another. Cover the rolls loosely with a dishcloth and let them rise for 40 to 45 minutes.

Preheat the oven at 350º F. Bake the rolls until the top are golden. about 20 minutes, then invert them immediately onto a rack. Cool for 10 mn.

Looks yummy
:D

As for suing, England is copying America where they sue for almost anything

I might have mentioned it before but, if someone climbs over YOUR garden wall intending to break into YOUR home and rob YOU, but he injures himself because there is glass on your wall to deter burglars he can sue YOU X(

One day, I will have fun by accepting immediately ALL the asking of banning I receive publicly or in PM by members : as quite everybody ask me to ban everybody, only 3 persons might remain : the others could claim elsewhere they have been outrageously censored while moderation should have censored all BUT themselves.

I would call it the Ban Day. :ymdevil:

Have I managed to upset someone AGAIN :o)

I do not want to ban anyone, though I think it is a shame more people feel unable to discuss things in a civilised manner and without the insults.

I fully intend to continue sticking up for the rights of women and to those who object :p

That's a Middle Eastern way of thinking concerning democracy : they imagine that freedom of expression is tolerable except when it allows people to contradict their opinion. :-D

They live mostly in Iranian Kurdistan, a few of them in Iranian Azerbaijan and in S. Kurdistan there are Kaka'is (some say they are the same religion, but I am not sure).

Yeah they are fine, and their music is great .

You can recognize them easily : they have often a mustache bigger than Stalin's  (Religious taboo for cutting it).
